Individual
-
Individual counseling sessions will be tailored to a child's specific needs. Typical sessions last between 30-60 minutes depending on your child's needs and goals. Parental involvement will differ by age, needs, goals of the child, and therapeutic intervention. Parents may be asked to attend the first 5-10 minutes of session or last 5-10 minutes of their child's session, to help address and follow through with needs, goals, and interventions outside of therapy.

Family therapy with patient present
-
Family therapy sessions may be provided with or without individual therapy services at the desire of the family and discretion of the therapist. I have training and specialized experience in family therapy. Family therapy may include: parents, siblings, and other important family members to address agreed upon goals.
-
-
Family therapy without patient present
-
Some insurances allow for family therapy services without the patient present. This may involve : specific parenting interventions, parenting concerns, and psycho-education. This is done on a case by case basis with the patient’s knowledge.

Parent Consult
-
Parenting consultation is available at a fee for service to address referrals, community resources, and parent education. This is a great first step for parents who want more knowledge of services and resources available that would best fit the needs of their child. This can be done without a child being engaged in counseling services with Raising Hope.
